    As a practitioner specializing in clinical psychology and certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, my goal is to assist clients by working together to discover the root causes of undesired thinking and behavior patterns. I hold a degree of Master of Science specializing in Clinical Psychology. I have nine years of experience working with clients in the areas of anxiety, depression, behavior modification, parenting psychoeducation, anger and family systems. Often, emotion dysregulation including frequent angry outbursts, negative self-thinking and undesired daily functioning are manifestations of fear, anxiety, traumatic experiences and even shame. Allow me to assist you in working through unresolved trauma, broken relationships and self-doubt with an end goal of improved overall daily functioning which can include the development and maintenance of fruitful relationships and improved emotional plasticity. I guarantee safety and client confidentiality is maintained throughout the treatment process. I hope to be given the opportunity to work closely with you to create an individualized plan of care and provide helpful tools and resources for daily use.

    I have extensive experience and passion assisting children, adults and families to help overcome feelings of depression/trauma and anxiety, dealing with substance usage and addiction problems. I have worked in community mental health, outpatient settings, women correctional settings and residential treatment for addictions.

    I utilize a variety of techniques including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, stress management, increasing self-esteem and anxiety reduction.

    I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Florida State University and Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University. I am a Certified Addiction Professional and a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with 25 years of experience in Substance Abuse and 6 years of experience in Mental Health.

    I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) & Qualified Supervisor (CSW).  My experience as a LCSW has been over two years.  My skills and experiences provide effective therapeutic treatment to my clients. I have a background in working with kidney dialysis patients, hospice patients, mental health inpatient and outpatient clients.   My passion is providing therapy to the elders, adults, adolescents and children.  I specialize in grief, chronic pain, stress, anxiety, depression, anger management, trauma, addiction, substance use, relationship issues, coping skills, codependency, behavioral issues, self-esteem, life coaching and transitions.

    My therapeutic approach is holistic.  I provide cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused, strength based, client centered, mindfulness and other evidence-based treatments to help you reach your goals.

    We all face challenges throughout our lives. My goal as your therapist is to address your presenting problems and to provide emotional and psychological support to get to where you need to be at your “happy place.” I utilize different therapeutic interventions in my toolbox that I will teach you to have in your toolbox to carry with you in the pathways of life.     I am a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the State of Florida. I graduated from Liberty University with a Masters in Professional Counseling. I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years. Most of the time spent with Veterans diagnosed with a severe mental health issue including schizophrenia, PTSD, bipolar, major depressive disorder and substance abuse.

    My passion is to see children and adults set free from anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, traumatic experiences, stress, identify confusion in order to live an abundant life of freedom filled with self-confidence, peace and joy. My personal approach to therapy integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a wholeness perspective to incorporate the emotional, physical, mental and spiritual health of each individual. In addition, I utilize play therapy, trauma informed therapies and faith-based therapies to address all needs of the client.

    In addition to my education, I am a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator focused on preparing couples for marriage, enriching marriages and restoring marriages through an evidenced based relationship building process. I am also a certified SMART Recovery facilitator.

    My name is DeCarlos Scippio, I grew up in Lake City Florida. I am an army veteran and was honorable discharged as a sergeant after six years of services. I studied as an undergraduate at Famu and earned my master’s in social work from the University of Central Florida.

    As a clinician, I teach clients resiliency to help them overcome barriers and cope with everyday stressors. I use Talk Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.

    To best serve my clients I create a safe and non-judgmental environment. I work with children, adolescents, and adults to address trauma, depression, behavioral problems, grief, self-esteem building, and life coaching.

    Clinical services are provided in a variety of settings to include telehealth, home, educational institutions, and in office settings.

    I have 6 years of experience in the mental health field.

    My name is Jerrika Battle and I have been working in the field of social work for 4 years now. I received my B.S in Family, Youth and Community Sciences from The University of Florida and then followed up with my Master’s in Social Work from The University of Central Florida.
     
    I entered this field knowing and seeing there was a need in my community. Everyone deserves to live a fulfilling life and to have someone on their side willing to advocate for them.  I have a passion for working with at risk youth and families, providing them with resources while improving their social and psychological well-being. I have worked in many settings including school, outpatient, inpatient psychiatric facilities, and group homes. I utilize evidence-based practices while in sessions, including cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma informed care. I hold a Bachelor of Science and (2) Master’s in Science Degrees from Purdue University Global. I have worked in many settings such as in home, schools, telehealth, and office settings. After working as a substitute teacher for grades K-12 for 13 years, I have had a passion for working with children and adolescent to help them cope and overcome trauma, anxiety, and depression. As a clinician, I utilize a variety of techniques such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Talk Therapy, improving self-esteem, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused, and client centered Therapy. I work with adolescents, children, and adults to address anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, grief, and behavioral problems.
